Windows 7 machine lost my profile
Hello Everyone, I use my domain account to log on to my windows 7 machine. Few days ago my password had expired and so I changed the password. When I rebooted the machine and it said my profile is corrupt it created a new profile for me. Even though my previous profile is there in C:\Users\abhishek (11 GB). It has created a new directory c:\Users\temp.domain. Now everytime I log in, all things like My Document, My Pictures etc points to c:\users\temp.domain. How do I change it back to c:\users\abhishek? When I run the user profile tool, it shows my older profile as size ? and type "backup" there is no way to change that to local profile.

abhishek - Have you considered trying a System Restore - to say a day BEFORE whatever corrupted the profile?
