Windows 7 loses internet connection
Windows 7 SP1 - Using a D Link DI 604 - Have 2 XP Desktops and a Vista laptop on the same LAN. Connected to internet thru comcast modem. Windows 7 intermittently drops internet connectivity. Still sees the printers on the other machines in the LAN though, but not the machines themselves so no file sharing. Reboot brings it all back. As this is a new AMD 64bit six way, the reboot is fast, but should not be needed. I suspected the Dlink which is an older unit, but it passed all the MS tests. The problem does not exist in the other machines, so it must be (my opinion) in Windows 7. Any thoughts - solutions

Check the here for a router firmware upgrade. see the dlink site for instructions on installing firmware updates. Your router is old enough it may not work with Windows 7. Jerry
