Neither Vista nor Windows 7 use the old MSGina.dll file that provided that interface. As it is with Vista, if you need to log on locally, you'll need to identify the local account name by entering "\\computername\username" in the logon name field. Similarly, to log on the a different domain, you'd need to enter "\\domainname\username." To get a login dialog box with the old drop-down domain list, you'll have to seek out a third-party Graphical Identification and Authentication (GINA) solution.-- Bruce ChambersHelp us help you:http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.htmlhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/555375They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. ~Benjamin FranklinMany people would rather die than think; in fact, most do. ~Bertrand RussellThe philosopher has never killed any priests, whereas the priest has killed a great many philosophers.~ Denis Diderot

Yes, I agree with Bruce. You can however add a few registry keys to hide any accounts you wish to not display at the logon screen.Press Windows Key + R then in Run type RegEdit and press enter.Expand the following key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinlogonUnder Winlogon create the following key:SpecialAccountsthen under that create:UserListIn UserList create a DWORD (32-bit) ValueGive this value the name of the user account you wish to hide.(Make sure you do not place your main administrative account name here).Hope this helps!Sean Zhu - MSFT
