I am the one currently taking care of these. One thing I also found is that in this image System Restore was disabled and I don't remember disabling it. I tried this fix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2008385 on the workstation but this laptop already has the NetworkService account as having full control & read permissions to the HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-20 hive and the laptop still deactivated even though the kb article mentioned giving the NetworkService account full control & read permissions above.
