Windows 7 laptop cannot access wireless router
Hi everyone, Trying to get a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop to connect to ATT Uverse router. This laptop has been able to access the router before, but dropped out 2 days ago. I had another Dell laptop running Windows 7 lose internet when the user disabled the adapter. When I brought that laptop back up, I found I had to change the security on the router to WPA-PSK (TKIP) for it to access the internet. When I changed the Inspiron to WPA, that's when the problems started. I have a total of 4 machines accessing the router. 2XP and 2 Win7. XP and one Win 7 can access the router with no problems. Laptop does see all networks in area, including network it wants to attach to. It can only get access if router's security is disabled. It will not connect on WEP, WPA-PSK (TKIP) or WPA2-PSK (TKIP) or WPA2-PSK (AES). I've tried changing to all variations with no success. Laptop is connect while wired. Device drivers are up to date. Uninstalled/reinstalled drivers. Firmware is up to date. Uninstalled McAfee. Disabled Windows firewall. Reset router a million times. Disabled IPv6. Gave laptop a static IP address. Nothing has changed. I have been all over the internet to find a fix and can't find one, although I see a lot of other people have this headache as well. Looking for help. Would appreciate any help as I'm at my wit's end. Thanks. Loretta :)

Are you sure you are supplying the right passphrase? It is case sensitive. Jerry
