Windows 7 kills wireless for XP
I have 2 wireless PCs, one with XP Pro the other with Home. I installed the Windows 7 Beta on a desktop I have with a wireless card. I ahd no problem getting the card to work with 7, it was recognized immediately. The problem is, when I boot up the Windows 7 machin, the XP systems lose their wireless connection until 7 connects to the network. I've checked all of my settings and everything seems fine. Any ideas?

It could be your router. I have a similar problem too. However, I am thinking it might be that there are too many devices connected to the router, or at least that's what I'm thinking. This problem only occured when I had Vista installed though, I haven't had any problems since I installed Windows 7. Hope this helps a little

I have 3 PC's connected wirelessly with out any issues. Two are desktop. One is Windows 7, one is Vista Ultimate SP1 and the last is a laptop running XP SP3. The wireless router is a Netgear DG834GT with DGTeam 848 firmware on it. In my experience, wireless connectivity issues are usually the drivers on the PC. If you do not have the latest drivers for your wireless nic I would start there. --bill
