Windows 7 is preventing my server from copying files to clients
I'm using Server 2008 SBS with Win XP and Win 7 clients. I have an application on win 7 client machines that needs daily updating. On the win XP machines the file is replaced without a problem. On win 7 the users are prompted to enter the admin credentials when the executable on their computers are to be replaced. I have to go to 30 computers every morning and enter the admin credentials so that everyone can work. How can I bypass this feature of win 7 so that the executables can be replaced without me having to enter admin credentials everytime?

Hi, You can add Windows Credential to let PC remember your admin credentials by these steps below: 1 Click “Start” 2 Input “Credential Manager” in Search Box and press Enter 3 Go to “Windows Credentials” and click “Add a Windows credential” 4 Input Internet or network address in blank, also input your username and password 5 Click “OK” Also you can ask SBS forum for further help: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/smallbusinessserver/threads The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.
