I have a windows 2000 doamin and I added a windows 7 host to it After I added a Windows 7 workstation to a win2k domain it will not start the following services Base Filtering Engine Diagnostic Policy Service DHCP Client Windows Firewall Windows Time I get a error syaing access denied I tried using the local system account and I get the following Error 1079: The account specified for this service is differnt from the account specified for other services running the same process Any help is welcome Thanks

Hi, Regarding this issue, please try the following method: Some services do not start, and you receive an error message after you join a Windows Vista-based computer to a Windows 2000-based domain: "1279, a privilege that the service requires to function properly does not exist" Hope this helps.
