Windows 7 hibernate on shutdown
Just had my laptop tell me it was going to hibernate (or sleep mode as W7 calls it) if I didn't plug in power. So I shut down. But when I came to restart it had kicked in the hiberation just at the end of shutdown so it restored the session and then immediately shut down since that is what it was in the middle of! Seems like a backward step from XP. Surely W7 should know it's shutting down and cancel the hibernation? It's just with a solid state drive I would rather shutdown than save 2GB to SSD.
