Windows 7 fresh install internet issues
Hello. I have 2 hard drives in my computer, one with vista ultimate 64 bit. Recently i purchased a copy of windows 7 professional 64bit. I installed it on my second hard drive, which had no operating system on it. The installation went fine. When I click on view networks, it shows all the networks that it showed on vista ultimate. I clicked on my home's network and typed in my wep key, and it said unable to connect. I have tried rebooting the router, but so far I haven't had any luck. Right now im on my copy of vista, and the internet runs fine. My modem/route is a motorola sbg900, and my wireless card is a netgear wpnv11. I'm not sure what to do. It almost appears that the motorola sbg900 is incompatabile with windows 7? Please provide me with some insight.

It should be a driver issue. Please check from Internet to try to find Windows 7 compatible driver. If there is no compatible driver, try the latest driver for Windows Vista. If the latest Windows Vista driver does not help, please try to use WPA.Arthur Xie - MSFT
