My company has a single mapped drive for all users. The folders in the mapped drives are setup with DFS. I have 2 computers mine, and a managers that have windows 7. When we browse out to the X drive(mapped drive) by double clicking on my computer, then double clicking the mapped drive, it shows the folders, but when we double click on a folder, it goes back to the my computer window. Has anyone else seen this problem? It does not happen all of the time. And there is no pattern that we can find.

Try to disable SMB2 and check the result. If I go to the workstation and run this, it gives me the following message... C:\Users\cbxxxx>sc config lanmanworkstation depend= bowser/mrxsmb10/nsi [SC] OpenService FAILED 5: Access is denied.
