Windows 7 does not remember which folder I was in???
I am having two different problems on two different machines. Problem 1: I have a windows 7 Toshiba. The only way to explain the problem is to tell you what we are doing at the time. If we log into snapfish...or some other program where you can upload files...after opening the first file...when we go to upload another file....the folder we just navigated to for the previous upload is not remembered. Win 7 returns back to some sort of default. This is a pain in the A$$ when you are trying to upload multiple files. How can I fix this? Problem 2: I have a windows 7 HP. I don't have the problem that I just listed above...because this computer WILL REMEMBER the folder I was just in....BUT it will not let me use the back and forward buttons like Vista/XP lets you do. Instead...I have to click on a new folder in the navigation pane to the left in that window. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi,To avoid confusion, we has better focus on Problem 1 first. Later you can submit a new thread on Problem 2.When did this issue occurs? Right after installing windows 7? Did you upgrade windows vista to win7 or perform clean install of windows 7?I suggest close all the other unrelated website when uploading files. There is a security setting that "Include local directory path when uploading files to a server" (Internet zone default is Disable). You can try add the website to your Trusted sites zone so that the default is Enabled. This should fix the issue while still keeping your Internet Zone secure. Internet Options->Security tab->Trusted sitesIf still no go, reset IE settings worth a try:Reset Internet Explorer (IE) =================Note: the following steps will remove all of installed add-ons, passwords, etc. and reset IE to default settings. We need to reinstall the add-ons after resetting. 1. Click Start, please type “inetcpl.cpl” (without quotation marks) in the Start Search bar and press Enter to open the Internet options window.2. Switch to the Advanced tab.3. Click the "Reset Internet Explorer Settings" button.4. Click Reset to confirm the operation.5. Click Close when the resetting process has finished.6. Uncheck the "Enable third-party browser extensions" option in the Settings box.7. Click Apply, click OK.

This is a brand new computer...so windows 7 was already installed. I tried adding the site to the "Trusted Sites" list as mentioned above and it still did not work. I downloaded Chrome and tried the uploads using that browser and everything worked as it should....so it appears to only be an IE issue. I will try to reset IE and see if that works. Thanks.
