I just posted this question in the wrong place, I think. Does anyone know why Microsoft offer 61% discount on Windows 7 Pro Upgrade, but wherever I try to buy it, including Microsoft, it's only available at full price?

Jasa -If you're in the United States, Canada or Japan, the offer was from June 26th to July 11th only.If you're in the EU, (specifically, the UK, Germany or France), the offer sold out in like 30 minutes (or so the reports are saying).

Jasa - Not really sure why, but they did. It was publicized on most web pages (Amazon, NewEgg, and the other vendors listed on the Microsoft Store page.)The information was made public back on June 25th.

Why the limit?? Marketing 101 of course.They created a "BUZZ" with the sale,folks who had not done any beta testing heard about the sale and they jumped up and purchased it because it was on sale.I had about ten calls when the sale was on, folks asking what version they should purchase, these folks where buying to save cash.
