Windows 7 dhcp stopped working after joining domain.
We have server 2003. When joining a window 7 client to the domain the nic stops working. The dhcp service say access denied. If I use a static IP it works fine. We have desktops with window 7 and they work fine. It is just the laptops. I think it is a group policy but I don't know which one. Can anyone help?

Hi, Thanks for the post! According to your description, the issue only occurs on the laptops. Does the laptop use wired or wireless link? It could has different settings when using switch as DHCP server. Is there any special software used on the laptops? Try Clean Boot to see if it works. Also turn off the firewall to check the link problem.
