Windows 7 computer cannot see network or xp computers on the network???
New laptop computer, windows 7 with professional upgrade, 2 older xp computers, have wirelsess router network setup. new computer on network OK and accesses the internet OK. older xp computers see the new one Win7, but new one, win7, does not see the old XP ones . tried the Link-layer fix, but installer says already in service pack. xp computer can see win7 one and map the 7 folders as a drive, but cannot access them. get access denied message. What is wrong? not sure the link-layer is actually installed or working. does not appear in network connection/propertys/ view window1 person needs an answerI do too
