Windows 7 cleaning tool
I have not heard of any cleaning tool (... and warn you to use third party tool). I do partial cleaning manually by deleting temporary files. Sometimes in-place upgrade helps. If you want really clean system, restore it from the first backup or install vanilla plain operating system. Rgds Milos

Hi, If you want to clear the cache and history of Internet Explorer only, you can manually clear them from Internet Option manually in time.Kim Zhou TechNet Community Support

Win 7 does not need a "cleaning tool" quite as much as older systems do and you m ay in fact do more harm than good by using a 3rd party "reg" cleaning tool. My colleagues are correct as well that to return your computer to "factory fresh" a simple restore is probably not the best way. A factory reset is the best way to de-clutter a system (or clean install even better if you have the win 7 dvd) but you will have to re-install all the applications you have added since then. Best bet? If you don't have a problem that necessitates a reset, don't.MS-MVP 2010, 2011, 2012 Sysnative.com Team ZigZag
