Windows 7 cannot network browse Windows Vista Computers
My Windows 7 computer cannot view any Windows Vista computers files however, all of these computers can browse the Windows 7 computer's files. Info on network setup:Modem (in router mode) > 16-Port Router/Hub > ComputersThere is no wireless involved here. Homegroup on and off does not effect the problem. However, due to wiring constrates in my home my Desktop (running Windows 7) has to do a Network Bridge with my Laptop so the Laptop can connect to the internet. I do not think the network bridge is the problem however because with the bridge off all other Window Vista computer still CAN connect to the Win7 computer's files but the Win7 computer CANNOT connect to the WinVista computer's files; the same problem as before. I tried reinstalling Win7 and taking the rest of the network out of the equation. When I run a network diagnostic I get the following error code:0x80070035Along with the message:"The network path was not found"Please help :D

A temporary fix seems to be disable IP v6, but there should be a way to leave it on... hmm

Works here, so a quick question: Is the Vista machine visible in 'Network' ?If so what do you get when you click on it ?

It is visible in the network, and the problem just reared its ugly head again (even with my fix). Which leads me to believe that it is intermentint. I get the message "The Network path was not found" as well as the error code I posted in my first post when I click on the machine.

Now the machine is not visible in the Network; there were no configuration changes besides restarting the computers. This really needs a fix as It is wearing down my patience :(
