Windows 7 cannot map to ADS shares
I have a bunch of brand new Dell Latitude E6410s with Windows 7 Pro 32 bit installed. I have joined the laptop to my OU in the campus domain. I have a Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ file server in our Domain as well as a number of other data and file servers (All on a different sub-net from the users). I am able to map to our various different data and file servers except for the ReadyNAS. I am able to complete the mappings from all of the systems in our OU running XP, Vista, WIndows 2000 Advanced server, Windows server 2003 and Windows 2008 with out a problem. Then along come Windows 7 and I can map to all except the ReadyNAS NV+. What is different in Windows 7 vs Vista that would prevent this? Is there a switch, checkbox or registry tweak that I have to change to make this work? If I cannot get this to work, I'm going to be forced to Install Vista on all 56 of these new machines and that would really suck. Help!
