Windows 7 blue screen power down and will not boot-power turned off before chance to use the shutdown feature in Windows, completely hung up
Preloaded three new windows 7 32 bit Ultimate touch screen kiosk at factory. able to turn all three units on after shipment overseas and see windows and all three of the units were powered on and off serveral times with no failure. possible that 2 of the units were shut down by the power cord being removed before they could fully close and they both show the same symptons when turning them on, the blue windows shutdown screen shows everything on the pc is green and then red lights appear and no screen showing. Can't access the anything with a keyboard o without. What can I do to restore the units window 7, do i need to reload windows 7 software, not sure If can even do this, since no screens appear to do anything/ looks like it is trying to properly shutdown but can't and gets hung up? Weird thing is all three computers are the same and I didn't treat the unit that is operational any different. I was expecting Windows 7 to be more robust and be able to handle when a Power Cord is unplugged accidentally. Hoping that its not me but if anyone can comment it would be a big help. thanks

Hi, If it caused blue screen, you can upload the dump file for me to analyze it: 1. Click Start, type %SystemRoot%\Minidump" (without quotation marks) in Search bar and press Enter. 2. Go to your Desktop, right-click on it and create a new folder named "Dump". 3. Copy all the memory dump files (looks like [Mini092008-01.dmp]) in Minidump to this folder. 4. Right-click on the Dump folder, click "Send To", and click "Compressed (zipped) Folder". 5. Upload to SkyDrive. Or you can try to perform a startup repair or system restore in Win RE: http://www.ehow.com/how_6859808_do-system-restore-winre.html Regards, Leo HuangLeo Huang TechNet Community Support
