I'm going to go totally out a limb here, and say you've probably got a bad hard drive.Sometimes when BIOS hangs, it's because a bad device isn't responding or bouncing back signals (like a drive.) Bad hard drives can also cause a system to boot or run more slowly. Hello, I recently had my system upgraded to widows 7 and it worked perfectly for the first 2 weeks now when I turn on the computer or restart the computer it hangs on the black bios screen for 5 or more minutes when it finally goes into loading windows it takes it several minutes as well. Please help
