Windows 7 backup error
I try and backup but keep getting this error message when it gets to about 50% complete:
Check your backup
Windows backup skipped backing up system image because one of the critical volumes cannot be included for backup. Check that the volume is online and is formatted NTFS.
Try to run backup again
Change backup settings
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
What error code is encountered?
Please make sure that the file system for the disk partitions is NTFS first.
I would like to suggest you verify the following Windows Backup related services:
Volume Shadow Copy
Windows Backup
After that, please disable antivirus program temporarily and try to create a new backup in
Clean Boot.
What is the result?
If the issue persists, please perform a test to backup a text file. Does it work?

Ok. This is what I have found out.
I tried a different external hard drive which resulted in the same results. I then decided to run a backup without the system image and it runs perfectly. I tried to run a system image backup without any data backup and it failed with the same error code.
So, the end result is I cannot run the system image backup.
Thanks for the follow up and any other suggestions.
