Hi, Whatever software I try to back-up and generate a system image to an external hard drive it fails to complete. I have used windows owm software plus Acronis plus several others. I have managed to do it in the past. Is is possible that this is because I use folder locker and USB secure encrpytion software now. Cheers, Erebus1

Hi, I would like to suggest you to disable the folder locker and USB secure encryption software to have a try. Meanwhile, can you advise me that whether you are prompted the error message? If so, please post the error message in this thread. and please provide your device model. I suspect the backup application do not have the writing permission to your external hard disk. Because your encryption software is enabled, the data of your hard disk is prevented to modify. Otherwise, please check whether you select the whole disk include the external disk When you create the system image. You may also check whether the external disk have enough free space to save the system image and already formated with NTFS.
