Windows 7 and Vista DHCP issues
I have been using my Vista laptop for a couple of years now. Its connected to the internet via DLink router. I just bought a Win7 laptop - whenever I try to connect it to the network (wireless or wired) I am seeing strange behavior. The router logs are showing a constant stream of dhcp requests from the Win7 laptop. I have tried ipconfig renew/release a couple of times as suggested on some of the other threads - no luck. The other thing I noticed is that the Vista laptop disconnects from the network after some time when the Win7 machine is attempting to get online. When I shutdown my win7 laptop, the Vista laptop eventually reconnects. Has someone seen this behavior? Any suggestions on a fix? Thanks, NM

Was the Lenovo ReadyComm software that was causing the issue. Uninstalled it.
