Windows 7 and Power Users changing sound
I have a power user that cannot change the sound on her machine. When she tries to click on the little speaker next to the clock it asks for the username and password of an Administrator. What do i need to do to make it so no one has to ask for admin right to change the sound on Windows 7 machines?Where ever you go, there you are.

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum. Based on my research, in Windows 7, the permissions and rights that are associated with the Power Users group have been removed. Therefore, the Power Users group no longer has elevated permissions. In other word, if we are performing an operation which needs the elevated permission, it is necessary to provide the administrator right. Permissions and rights have been removed from the Power Users group in Windows Vista Did you just change the volume of sound or some other settings? I would like to know the detailed operations you performed. Alex Zhao TechNet Subscriber Support in forum.
