Windows 7 and Office 2003
I can't get my Office 2003 to install into my new computer with Windows 7. I didn't have any problems on my old XP computer. What could be the problem.

Office 2003 is compatible with Windows 7. Could you please describe in more detail the problems you are experiencing, so people can help?* Does the Office 2003 install disk autoplay when you insert the disk whilst running Windows 7?* Can you launch Setup on the Office 2003 install disk by double-clicking the file from within Explorer or Computer?* If you run Setup from the Office 2003 install disk what happens? Do you get error messages? What do those messages report?"Can't get my Office 2003 to install..." is a very vague statement. More detail will be of help.Cheers

You can also try installing it in compatibility mode: Install program under compatibility mode & Administrator level ================= 1. Right click on the installation file (setup.exe) and click Properties. 2. Click on the Compatibility tab. 3. Select Run this program in compatibility mode for. 4. Choose Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) from the drop down list. 5. Select Run this program as an administrator option under the Privilege Level topic. 6. Click Apply, click OK. Right click on the setup file and choose Run as administrator to install it again. If the issue persists, please let us know the exact error you received.Vivian Xing - MSFT
