Windows 7 and Cisco VPN client 5.0.06.xxxx
We have few machines connecting the clients network using Cisco VPN client 5.0.06.xxxx. We observed an issue after the upgrade of the desktop operating system from Windows XP to Windows 7. (Windows 7, 32 bit, Enterprise)There are some desktops (not all) getting intermittent issues after disconnecting the VPN network. Some times the ipconfig shows both local network IP and that of VPN network. As a result, the local network resources are not accessible. Either the network connections need to be disabled and enabled; or the desktop needs to be restarted. Request your help!

Hi, I would like to verify if you have installed the latest network adapter driver from manufacture's site? Did you close the Cisco VPN client after disconnecting the VPN network? Make sure there is no Cisco VPN client running after disconnecting the VPN network. Also update the Cisco VPN client to the latest version and make sure the local network connection is set as default. In addition, you could confirm the issue in Cisco VPN Support Community. https://supportforums.cisco.com/community/netpro/security/vpn?view=discussions Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice.
