Hi,
To successfully analyze this error, you need to look at the IRP and see
which driver it hung,

Is that mean the problem with nvlddmkm.dll (nVidia driver)?

Hi,
The issue is mostly caused by ACPI. Please try the following hotfix.

I have the same M6600 laptop and I experienced a similar problem (the only difference to the OP is that my OS is Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 with the Hyper-V role).
I downloaded the hotfix, but it says:"The update is not applicable to your computer".
Have a look at my other thread!

Just wondering if you've come up with a solution to the problem? I know the thread is ten months old, but I have a Dell M6600 that has been giving us fits with this exact problem since we purchased it. The hotfix didn't work for the M6600. I would appreciate
any leads you might have found (maybe the nVidia issue??).
Thanks,
