Hello,
I have set up a lab network to share files. There are 2 xp machines, 2 mac machines, and 1 windows 7 machines. All computers are connected together and have the ability to share files. The problem comes when the computer with windows 7 reboots, it looses
the ability to see the other computers on the network on Computer. The devices are still accessible via putting in \\devicename in the bar. I have network discovery turned on, file and printer sharing turned on, access to the files turned on, no password is
needed to access. The netbios over TCP/IP is enabeled. The ipconfig /all is...

I have been able to create desktop shortcuts to the network devices, but would like a more permanent solution to this problem.

Hmm, rebooted and everything seems to be working. I shake my head and think maybe enabiling TCP/IP made it worked, but who knows...
Computers, they can be finiky sometimes.

Hi,
This issue may be a temporary issue or it can occur by incompatible third party programs. If it is a temporary issue, it usually can be resolved by rebooting the
system. In future, if the issue is not resolved or reoccurs, please temporarily turn off firewall and perform a
Clean Boot to check the result.
Thanks,
Novak
