Windows 7 WIFI stops working at random moments, only reboot resolves things, other PC (XP) and PDA has no p´roblem connecting
[I have read through a number of the related posts but their advice does not work in this case] I have a windows 7 laptop and an old XP PC all connecting via WIFI, i have a problem where after a while the internet will just stop working randomly and have to reboot the W7 laptop to get it working again. When this one stops the others are still able to browse, so its not my router/internet connection. When the internet does go off a yellow dot appears in the wifi signal strength icon. I have tried to resolve the issue using the right hand mouse option but to no avail. I have already gone to the wireless device via device manager to uncheck the power saving features. Any help would be appreciated and would gladly answer any questions. It has to be windows 7 setup or drivers on the laptop I guess as other PC/PDAs connect fine.. My Laptop: LENOVO V360 model 0911 with Win 7 Home basic OA LATAM (I bought it in Argentina so the language is in Spanish (just to confuse things as my Spanish is still improving). Microsoft Adaptor Mini Port Virtual Wifi Date 21.06.2006 v 6.1.7600.16385 Broadcom 802.11n Adaptor date 21.1.10 v 5.60.48.35 Router: Encore 802.11n Wireless Router Model ENHWI-N3 (Kernal and Application Latest 1.1.4 Firmware) All Drivers/BIOS/Windows/Installed software are fully up-to-date. All using Windows Firewall. I am an educated beginner with computers so need some ideas where to look further. All help greatly appreciated!
