Hi, I have this PC with a few problem that may cause by user force shut down the PC when update is running. 1) When running update, it will have error code 9C48. This problem had mention in other thread but seem like no actual solution yet. 2) When I go to Control Panel --> Programs and Features --> View Installed Update, other updates for Office 2010, Adobe, etc... are shown except Windows Update. 3) All my Office 2010 icon is missing ? I tried System Restore, but the date only left those recent date that problem already occur. All earlier date can't be found. I can't affort to reinstall this PC because it had other accounting software. I have 2 PC with the same problem on issue 1. Greatly appreciate if any can advise me. Thanks in advance. Jason

Second Problem: 1. Key information source on update is WindowsUpdate.log (always check event log too) 2. Try to disable ad-ons. Rgds Milos

Hi All, Thanks for all the advise. It still can't work. Can I use the Repair Disc generate from the same model PC to run the repair? Will it affect the 3rd party accounting software inside this problem PC. Thanks in advance.
