Windows 7 Ultimate do not able to moving file to USB PORT
Dear All, My Hardware Config Core 2 Duo 2.8 Motherboard: G41 + ICH7 Ram: 4GB Software: Windows 7 Ulimate 32bit Software Raid 1 Originally, i was not able to copy any file to USB drive, it just show "Calculating" for an hour, and then i press "cancel", and then handed therafter, I installed Windows6.1-KB976972-x86.msu, it is successfully copy single file, showing with calculating msg, this time isn't be handed, My latest problem is copying bulk file(around fourty files) in total, it shows "Could not find the item, there is no longer in [USBDrive] " I forces me to cancel the copying item, Now i tried a software to copy the files, it sucessful, but i feel there is some troublism, wanna fix it, and i tried to copy file by xcopy, it isn't work, Could somebody help me out here? try running chkdsk /R on your usb drive. For example, chkdsk /R c: will check your boot volume. Replace C: with the letter of your USB drive.

Are you running the latest BIOS for your motherboard? Also, which mode is your disk controller in? i.e SATA, RAID, LEGACY, IDE

The BIOS isn't the latest, I didn't update it, as It just involved compability of latest CPU.. I tried to copy files thru the freeware TreaCopy,it's work, I am running an Software RAID 1 by windows 7 default driver, it is done by diskpart. Thanks

Further More, the system works fine without RAID 1 . I removed the internal card reader, everything work fine, What is internal card Reader? That's is a card reader embedded to the case trick for floppy drive, and connected to motherboard through internal usb jumper, I removed the device, I ought to save file to usb device, Thanks all helps out there. andrew

Dear all, Problems are now solved, I simple reomved the internal card reader, which the card reader connected to motherboard through Internal USB JUMBPER, Now, i removed it, everything work find, Thanks all helps there, Andrew
