Windows 7 Sync Centre Access Denied with multiple local profiles
Dear All, We have a Windows 2003 domain and user's My Documents are redireted using Group Policy. Normally this is working fine but after a different user has "borrowed" someones machine and the original user logs back on they get an Access Denied message in the Sycn Centre. The path it is trying to sync is that of the different user hence the access denied message. Why is Sync Centre remembering the other user's partnership? If I delete the profile of the different user then Sync Centre works correctly, until another person logs on again. Can anyone give me any advice? Regards Neil

I've seen something like this in the past - is the network location on a DFS folder target? Whether it is or isn't, try flushing the Offline Files cache or disabling Offline Files completely on the local client - if you're dealing with desktops, Offline Files isn't really needed anyway. The problem is basically that when another user logs on, he/she doesn't have access to certain paths which are in the Offline Files cache, hence the errors.
