Windows 7 Search didn't appear to index archive.pst stored on a network drive
Hi, I'm testing the Windows 7 RC and have double checked that the search settings are set for Outlook to index both the inbox and archive folder for Outlook 2003. The archive folder is stored on a network drive and for the longest time (like 2 weeks) it seemed like the search from the taskbar would not display any results from my archive folders. Of course now I have checked and results do show up for old mail in my archive folders. I was wondering if there was anywhere in Windows 7 that you can look at a log or event which will tell you if it's indexing a certain location or if it has completed indexing a target? BTW - really like Windows 7, so far only a couple of compatability problems. Nothing earth shattering, and I even went with the 64bit version on my Dell Precision WS M6300.Thanks,Mark
