I wish I could understand why people post their emails in public places, must really love spam.So what was the critical error? What does the event logs say? Was this an upgrade from Vista? Have you reviewed the device manager to see if their are any noticeable errors with drivers? Have you installed updated Windows 7 drivers yet if you've upgraded?MCSE, MCSA, MCDST [If this post helps to resolve your issue, please click the "Mark as Answer" or "Helpful" button at the top of this message. Hello,Does the problem happen when using any screen saver? Booting the computer to clean boot mode and see if the issue persists. If the problem still happens, try to download and install the latest display card driver. You can also test this problem in a new account:Create a new user account================1. Click the Start Button, and then click Control Panel. 2. User Accounts.3. Click Manage another account.4. Click "Create a new account".5. Type in the account name and select choose an account type (For Example: Administrator or Standard user). Then, click Create Account. Thomas77

Hello, You just need to create a new account and log into it and see if the problem happens in this new account. Then you can log off and log into your user account. It will not affect the Codegear 2010. If the problem does not happens whe using new account, we can determine that the problem is caused by the corrupted user profile. If the problem still happens in the new account, I recommend you test the problem in device clean boot mode: Device Clean Boot================1. Click "Start", type "DEVMGMT.MSC" in the Search textbox and press Enter. Please click “Allow” if the User Account Control window is prompted.2. Expand "Sound, video and game controllers". 3. Right click on your Sound Card, select "Properties"4. Click "Driver" tab, click Disable (Disable the selected device). Click OK.5. Please use the same method to disable other hardware: Modem, network adapter, CD-R drive, display card. Then, restart your computer. Please check whether the issue persists. Click "Driver" tab, click Enable (Enable the selected device). Click OK. If the issue does not occur, we can re-enable the devices one by one to narrow down the root cause. Thomas77

Hi Osman,If you accept, I also recommend to try a Clean Boot (provided by Thomas) to see the result. It seems that there is a program which be affected when system get into screensaver. As generally it will not be a system program, Clean Boot steps can help us narrow down and find out it.
