Windows 7 Screen Random event major problem please help
Hi I need help with my Windows 7 ultimate 64bit system. 24hours ago I i noticed my Monitor Screen going Black and the system still running but not responsive to key or mouse inputs, this is happening randomly , but sometimes it happens just after a fresh boot. Also the screen sometimes goes Grey, or Pink/Red with the system still running in the back ground. Ive tried lots of things and need help asap - I had not changed anything on the PC prior to getting this error that i know of. Booting into Safemode , works fine.. My System, AMD 7750, ECS Black motherboard with onboard Geforce 8200, 6gb Ram, 80gb Intel SSD, Dell monitor. First thing i tried was a different Monitor and cables - Same problem... Checked graphics/video drivers all updated with windows update... Did a system restore to a few days earlier when the problem didnt exsist but the Problem is still there... Deleted some of the past days windows updates, Still recieving the same problem.... Ran MSCONFIG and did the steps to stop all Non MS Services, no change still experience the problem.... Looked at the temp of my gpu, seems stable at 42/49 degrees C.... Ran several Virus and Malware programs, I have Security Essentials installed as my main Virus protection, BUT windows defender seems to have een turned of by security essentials. Ran Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - No Errors Any help would be very much appriciated thank you p.s sorry about the format i cant get it spaces to work:-(

Hi, I've understood, that the issue occurs even with a different cable and monitor, but the issue does not reproduce when you run the system in the safe mode. The issue might be caused also by your GPU. I would have also tried (each separatedly or in a combination, whereas meaningful): Start the computer in the VGA mode. [not sure, whether it loads also a generic driver, or used the current one] Change the graphic driver to a generic one (non-vendor specific). Lower the screen resolution (for example to 800x600). Run a graphic stress tests, 3DMark etc.
