You need to contact the project manager for Win 7 SP2, if there is such a project. He/She will be the only one that has any idea about if and when it is anticipated to be released. There has not been any public notices of any activity on a Win 7 SP2.Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. There probably wont be a SP-2 (IMHO) for win 7. AFAIK there arent enough outstanding bugs to warrant it. Why do you think you need it?MS-MVP 2010, 2011, 2012 Sysnative.com Team ZigZag

Well as the number of updates increase, they take longer to install. Looking at some of the hotfixes out there, these are normally included in a service pack.

It would be nice to update our image with SP2 and a few updates, fixes & patches. Not SP1 and 150 odd updates, fixes and patches. Big difference...

Hi, Yeah, I think this is reasonable, there would be a next service pack in future if it's necessary, but there is no any state to confirm this currently. We can keep eyes on the news of Microsoft websites.
