Windows 7 SP1 Won't Install
Hello,
Windows 7 Professional, HP Elitebook 8460p, 4GB RAM, 300GB HD.
I have tried installing Windows 7 SP1 from Windows Update and by using the manual installation package.
It fails either way.
I have run the Readiness Tool, SFC /Scannow, Disk cleanup, clean boot, but I still can't get it installed.
Any ideas?

is your system fully updated with windows updates? any virus scan active?
