Windows 7 SP1 Installation - CheckSUR error and where to obtain files.
Hello,
I am attempting to install SP1 for Windows 7 32 Bit. However when I install it it comes back with an error - File not found. I have done s sfc /scannow and it found no problems. I then ran the update rediness tool and it found 2 files
it couldn't replace -

Following the steps here - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee619779(WS.10).aspx - it suggests all I need to do is obtain these files again, put them
in the correct directory and re-run the update rediness tool.
This is where my problem lies, how do I re-obtain these files? I've looked on a second PC and it does not have the same files (it has similar files, however the last section after the _none_ differs).
Thanks,
Cameron

Hello,
I was about to post a follow up to this thread asking again, however I see that there have been replies but the e-mail notification system isn't working.
I will have a look tonight at the suggested answer to see if this fixes the problem.
Thank you,

create a new topic and provide the following logs:
Please run the Windows Explorer and go to the folder "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\" and
copy all files to your document folder, also copy the setupapi.dev.log from the folder C:\Windows\Inf and the file "C:\Windows\winsxs\poqexec.log" to your document folder (otherwise you can't upload it), zip all files
into 1 ZIP and upload the zip to your SkyDrive [1] and post a link here.
