Windows 7 Roaming Profile Issue
I have seen this scenario when you also have folder redirection activated for the desktop and the redirected desktop and roaming profile are located in the same folder on the server. Is this your scenario? If so, you must separate them so that the redirected desktop folder is outside the roaming profile directory.Blogging about Windows for IT pros at www.theexperienceblog.com

I have a user who has got roaming profile configured. When he deletes 3 folders from his desktop and logs off and logs back in again or reboots the machine, those 3 folders reappear on his desktop. This happens on any machine that he logs in to. Can anyone tell me what's the resolution, make folder available offline is disabled for desktop users in our environment and he is a desktop user.Pallab Chakraborty

Hi The user is facing roaming profile synchronization issue. He gets the message while logging off that the profile wasn't successfully synchronised with the server. When he deletes some files from his desktop and he logs off and log in again, the folders come back again. I tried deleting the folder from the server itself from where the profile loads, but still some folders come back. Any suggestions how to deal with this issuePallab Chakraborty
