Windows 7 Revovery Disk
Hi, I have recently needed to reboot my PC by using a windows 7 recovery disk. When I first used the disk I clicked on restore windows 7 OS and the computer went onto the screen 'windows is starting' after a good 20 minutes I was still stuck on the screen and I presumed it to crashed, so I turned off my PC and restarted to which I found the disk then started loading all of the files, however after about another 15 -20 minutes of the bar being stuck at the same place I then presumed it may have crashed again, however now, whenever I turn on my PC when I go to select the boot device the cd never shows up on the list only two USB boot devices, is there anything I can do to fix this problem and allow the disk to run properly as I feel I didn't give it enough time to load.

Hi, According the issue, I recommend that you may check whether your CD-ROM is recognized by your BIOS. Please enter BIOS then check it. If it is not recognized by your BIOS. You may contact manufacturer to fix the hardware issue effectively. After fixing the hardware issue, I want to assist you to solve the problem for Windows Startup. Then you would needn’t start your system via recovery disk. To solve this problem, you may rebuilt BCD via Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows Recovery Environment, please take the following steps to rebuilt BCD: 1.
