Windows 7 Remote Desktop Connection - Network Level Authentication Error
This used to work and all of a sudden it stopped - but only between 2 machines.
Main System: Windows 7 x64
HTPC: Windows 7 x32
Windows Home Server 2011
I can connect to the WHS2011 box using RDC set to NLA on both systems.
However, when I try to connect from the Main to the HTPC (also set to NLA), I get "The remote computer requires NLA, which your computer does not support"
So either the HTPC is borked somehow or my WHS2011 box is pulling a Forest Gump and letting the main in without NLA.
Any suggestions?

What is the corresponding error that you get in the event viewer?

Not seeing any corresponding error in Event Viewer, unless I don;t know what to look for.
Nothing that pertains to RDC, NLA, etc.

Hi,
Try to set remote option to “Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop(less secure)” for test:
Right click “Computer”---“Properties”---“Remote settings”
If it doesn’t work, try to temporally disable firewall to see the result.

Setting it lower does work.
I can connect to another WIndows 7 system and WHS 2011 box using the NLA option, just not this one particular box for some reason.
