Dear, We have a Windows Server 2008 R2 domain and use Windows 7 X86 Enterprise Clients. We use local profiles and redirection. We use GPO to redirect the Appdata to the following location : The folders are precreated with the proper ntfs permissions. \\DKDEV-DC-01\USERS$\%username%\AppdataRoaming The redirection works and the data is copied to the new location. Then we modify the GPO so the redirection is pointed to a new location: \\DKDEV-DC-01\USER2$\%username%\AppdataRoaming The redirection works and the data is being copied from the old location to the new location as specified in the GPO. Problem : When the user logs on after modification of the path the background is black. When we check HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\Wallpaper then the location used in the reg key still points to the previous redirection location. The problems does not occur when we give the user a new profile. Is this expected behavior ? Kind regs Gino D
