If I was invited through Microsoft Connect to participate in the beta, will I recieve a free copy of the RTM version of Windows 7. I know that in the public faq it says no but that was for the public beta, im talking about when you are invited.All answers will be apreciatedThanksAli

You will probably receive an invite to download the use the RC when it is released, but as for getting the actual RTM version, I believe notnor would I expect it.

I beleive that some Vista beta testers may have experienced something like this but I would not expect it for Windows 7 - just be pleasantly surprised if it happens and think of all the goodness you have put back into the community and how much better you have helped to make the product with your beta testing contributions ;-)Mark Wilson (MVP Virtual Machine) - http://www.markwilson.co.uk/blog/

The only thing that I have see/heard like this is the Windows feedback program where you recieve a free copy of Vista or 7 for participating. But, the spaces for it go prety fast. Ali
