Windows 7 RDP problem. Xp RDP is running Win 7 not
Hello, we have a big problem in our company. Maybe you can help me, to resolve the problem. First, sorry for my bad English :) So, we are working together with another company in another location. Both locations are connected by a router - router connection. We are working with XP Clients. We have to connect us, with the rdpclient, to a server 2003 at the other location. There are no problems! Now I would use windows 7 for the same connection. It don't works! The windows 7 client is in the same network like the xp clients. I can start a rdp connection to a server 2003 in our company with windows 7. But I cant connect to the other company. Ping(windows 7) is running, and the xp clients works fine. We have tested it with vista too. Its the same problem. The firewall is off. The firewall service is running. Now I have use the windows network monitor. The result of the scan: First: 267 15:43:25 20.03.2012 13.4481740 mstsc.exe 172.28.55.2 10.1.200.1 TCP TCP:Flags=......S., SrcPort=56668, DstPort=MS WBT Server(3389), PayloadLen=0, Seq=1473949464, Ack=0, Win=8192 ( Negotiating scale factor 0x2 ) = 8192 {TCP:82, IPv4:81} Second: 288 15:43:28 20.03.2012 16.4579396 mstsc.exe 172.28.55.2 10.1.200.1 TCP TCP:[SynReTransmit #267]Flags=......S., SrcPort=56668, DstPort=MS WBT Server(3389), PayloadLen=0, Seq=1473949464, Ack=0, Win=8192 ( Negotiating scale factor 0x2 ) = 8192 {TCP:82, IPv4:81} Third: 335 15:43:34 20.03.2012 22.4639951 mstsc.exe 172.28.55.2 10.1.200.1 TCP TCP:[SynReTransmit #267]Flags=......S., SrcPort=56668, DstPort=MS WBT Server(3389), PayloadLen=0, Seq=1473949464, Ack=0, Win=8192 ( Negotiating scale factor 0x2 ) = 8192 {TCP:82, IPv4:81} Do you have an idea? Hi I m having the same issue on an SBS 2008 box - I can RDP to all the WinXP clients but none of the Win7 clients. They used to work just fine until a week or so ago. Everyting resolves okay but I cannot telnet to port 3389. I have switched off the firewall and remove AV software etc. Netstat shows nothing is listening on port 3389. I have moved the PC to a different OU and disabled the firewall rules and stil no luck. Gordon
