k3y, Just to clarify - you're saying that you booted the Windows 7 DVD, and the automatic repair function was unsuccessful? If so, you may need to try reinstalling Windows 7 over itself using that very DVD, as it's possible that Spybot acted a bit too judiciously on an infected file and deleted an essential operating system component. You should not lose any data as long as you do not opt to format the drive.-Alex
