One of the few problems that I have experienced is that I see a blue screen when my computer shuts down, right before the power turns off. The next time that I start the computer I receive a message that the computer did not shut down correctly,searches for a solution, and then states that there is currently no solution. The computer seems to run properly after that, but the same thing happens almost everytime that I shut down the computer (using the shut down button on the bottom of the desktop screen.

Farmer_Al, Are you by chance using StuffIt? A user on this forum was, leading him to encounter the same problem, and uninstalling the program solved it.-Alex

What does the error report say about the problem. Most often this is caused by driver issues, although hardware issues can also be involved.- John
