Was able to import the same setting that I use with 32-bit Windows 7and ESET Smart Security.Been using my system with Windows 7 and ESET Smart Security (both 64-bit) for about 4 days and not a single issue.GA P35 DQ6 Mb, Intel Wolfdale 8600 3.33Ghz C2D CPU., 4x2Gb Mushkin DDR2 1066 PC2 8500 Ascents Memory Mods., PNY-nVidia GE Force 8800 GTS (640MB), 4-Western Digital Caviar SATA(2) HDD's (internal), 1 EIDE-USB External; Hauppauge PVR 1600 TV tuner, Dual Monitor: (1) Standard up top, (1) WideScreen below; Altec Lansign Speakers...

I agree, both working fine together for me to - however I cannot for the life of me get media streaming to work from WMP12! If I turn off the ESET firewall it works fine but as soon as it goes back on the server is not seen by my playstation! Works fine using windows firewall.

I agree, both working fine together for me to - however I cannot for the life of me get media streaming to work from WMP12! If I turn off the ESET firewall it works fine but as soon as it goes back on the server is not seen by my playstation! Works fine using windows firewall. Wouldn't that then suggest it is not working fine? This is a commonly encountered problem with Eset Smart Security which some people seem to be able to resolve and others cannot resolve.I ditched the program recently for theMSE beta in part because of its overly enthusiastic firewall. I could fix the streamimg issue (which was actually irrelevant to me) but could never manage full functionality with my Windows Home Server. Actually, the program update that occurred a couple days before MSE was released was the deciding factor, since Smart Security 4.0 on my x65 Windows 7 machine suddenly became slower than any Eset product I've ever used. I generally like Eset's products but they are not free of bugs, firewall issues, and performance quirks under Windows 7....Stephen

I guess on reflection, saying it works fine was an over statement - I agree with your comment about it being over enthusiastic to the point that I have actually disabled it in favour of the built-in firewall. I have a belkin router that has a hardware firewall so get very few attacks from the the internet anyway. Read somewhere that smart security doesnt come with the feature for streaming enabled by default - I guess fro their perspective that some simple wizards to enable streaming / server connections would be a great improvement.
