I have installed the 7RC. I had NO problems whatsoever with the 7 Beta. After the 7 rc, more than half of my programs NO LONGER WORKS...I am very perplexed. I would reinstall vista, if the computer would allow...but now it says I have some problem with a media storage device and it wont proceed any furthers, and reboots bak into 7 rc. THis think gives me the blue screen of death evertime I turn around. Beta worked with AVG antivirus. Now it does not work with RC. HOW cn I get help with the 7 rc? You don't say if you did a clean install of 7 RC or over top of the 7 beta, if you install Windows 7 RC you have to install a fresh copy of it.

HiDid you install the RC the same way you installed the original beta?There is no official support for any beta product. If you are having that many problems, I would recommend that you just cut your losses, format the drive, and start over with a clean install.
