I have had my laptop and pc replaced by the insurance company but both on Vista. As I have Windows 7 Prof. key could some one point me in the right direct of where I can download a full (not ISO) bootalbe DVD of Windows 7 and how, if any, should it be download and burnt onto a bootable DVD. Your help would be really appreciated as I'm struggling here a liitle. Thanks Max

You seem to be a little confused. An .iso is a software image of a CD or DVD. That's normally what you'd want to download, and then use a utility (like the freeware imageburn) to re-create the DVD from the .iso. THe .iso isn't formally available for download. However, I've seen links (which I'm not permitted to post here) to .iso downloads from digitalriver, which is one of the few vendors to sell Win7 by download. Google may be your friend. You may have to activate by phone, as your license key has already been used to activate Win7 on your stolen laptop. Was your Win7 Pro version retail or OEM? If it's OEM, you may be out of luck. OEM licenses are more restrictive than retail ones, which is why they are cheaper.
