Windows 7 Pro won't connect to Windows Server 2003 domain
Already done the following step : - open up the DNS Management Console - Start->Run->dnsmgmt.msc. Expand your Primary DNS server's list and then expand Forward Lookup Zones. Right-click on your Domain name and select New Host (the New Host box is shown in the image). Enter Win 7 PC name in the box and its IP address in the correct place. Then click Add Host. But when I go to the Win 7 PC and try to add it to the domain, I get the same answer: "Your computer could not be joined to the domain because the following error occurred. An attempt to resolve the DNS name of a domain controller in the domain being joined has failed. Please verify this client is configured to reach a DNS Server that can resolve DNS names in the target domain."

How is your PC getting its IP address? DHCP from Active Directory, DHCP from your router or a static address? How is your Domain Controller getting its address? Your DNS server(s)? Active Directory DCs, DNS servers, DHCP servers and Exchange servers should all have static addresses. Member servers' and clients' addresses can be assigned by DHCP, although I find it good practice to give all my servers static addresses. When you try to join the domain are you using the full domain name (FQDN)? If you're familiar with your domain setup you could also try using the NetBIOS domain name (pre-Windows 2000 domain name). Since you're obviously using DNS from a server we can eliminate the router's DNS as an issue.
